Why in a closed black container?
It is beautiful: the contrast between the black container and the bright candle is beautiful, and attracts the eye, and the golden inner side reflects the light of the candle and intensifies the experience.
It is convenient and allows for use outside the home: the candle in the closed black container is easy to carry, and therefore is especially suitable for traveling outside the home. Imagine yourself in nature. Sitting on a mat at sunset next to your special candle. Wrapped in scents and taking a moment to ground yourself, and experience the peace. Imagine yourself working outside the home. The candle flame next to you spreads pleasant aromas and you wrap yourself in them and take a moment of your own in a private space. This way we can easily determine that we carry the special moments that we choose for our lives to contain - with us. I personally like to carry the candle in the small black container with me in my bag, and at home to use the candle in the large black container in the evenings. (What do you like?).
It's practical: The closed black can protects the candle from light, moisture and air.. It maintains the quality and smell over time.

Why in a glass cup?
It's beautiful: The clear candle in the glass cup creates a feeling of purity and beauty.
It creates an atmosphere: The transparent cup allows you to see the candle from the side, and so you can participate in the experience together. On the table in the living room or on the balcony, the candle contributes to a relaxing and pleasant atmosphere.

Why lavender and bergamot?
I chose to combine lavender and bergamot essential oils in this candle, because together they are a story of clarity, balance and calmness.
Lavender essential oil (Lavandula angustifolia) – Lavender is known for its ability to slow down the pace – to calm the nervous system, release tension and instill a gentle sense of relaxation that spreads throughout the body.

Controlled clinical studies show that inhaling lavender reduces anxiety. The mechanism works through the effect of the active ingredients in lavender on the central nervous system* to create an improvement in mood, reduce heart rate and blood pressure. These effects contribute significantly to the relief of mild symptoms of mental stress and fatigue, and to promote sleep. In addition, lavender oil increases the levels of serotonin available in the brain** – which contributes to a feeling of calm, improved mood, and reduced anxiety.

For further in-depth information: *The lavender substances linalool and linalyl acetate act as partial blockers of NMDA receptors responsible for regulating the transmission of nerve signals, especially in states of arousal and response to stress. This blockage reduces neural arousal, thereby reducing feelings of stress, anxiety and irritability. **Lavender inhibits the activity of SERT (Serotonin Transporter), which is responsible for the reuptake of serotonin in the brain synapses, thereby increasing the availability of serotonin in the synaptic cleft. Its effect is of course less potent than anti-anxiety and antidepressant drugs with a similar mechanism.
